Give me peace. Give me clarity. Give me wisdom. Give me a more loving spouse.
What if the very thing you keep asking God for is something you're already carrying?
This is a different kind of episode. Not a framework, not a five-step process. Just something I was meditating on in my own quiet time that felt too relevant not to share.
In this episode of the Breaking Chains Podcast, I'm talking about the difference between living from lack and living from overflow, and what it looks like to stop asking God for peace, clarity, joy, strength, courage, and love, and start giving from the very things you already carry.
Whenever we say "Lord, give me," we're still separate from the thing we're asking for. He's not waiting to give it to you. He's waiting for you to recognize what He's already put in your hands.
This Episode Is For You If:
In This Episode, We Talk About:
Powerful Quotes
"You can ask me for things, or you can live from the things that I already gave you."
"What if you don't have a clarity problem? You have a connection problem."
"Joy is like peace that's expressed."
"As we give, we receive. That is how it works."
"We go from a person who lives from lack, to someone who operates from a place of overflow."
What have you been asking God for?
Maybe it's peace. Maybe it's clarity. Maybe it's a more loving spouse, more provision, more courage.
Here's the invitation: instead of asking and begging, say thank you. Receive it. Then become a distributor of it.
Thank Him for opening your eyes to the peace that's already available. The clarity He's already given. The wisdom you already hold. The joy that's already there. The strength already flowing through you. The love that already lives in you, because He so loved you first.
Then go and give it away. Go love somebody. Go bless somebody. Go lead with peace in the middle of the storm. Go respond with wisdom instead of foolishness.
Because the more you release, the more you receive. That's just how it works.
